Notes from Cory
I have spent most of my time in Spain in the northern half of the country, since that is where the majority of our wines are from. My favorite route is to start in Barcelona and then drive west across the country to Galicia, stopping along the way in small towns and villages off the beaten track, and visiting the bigger towns of Logroņo, Burgos, and even Valladolid farther south. The variation in landscape is impressive, and all of it is beautiful in its own way. The traditional cuisine also varies from one region to the other, and for that matter so does the language, from Catalan to Castilian to Gallego.
